Jupiter in Scorpio in 2H

Image
Delineation Those whose nativity contains Jupiter in Scorpio in the House of Assets will earn their livelihood in relation to war, weapons, fire or blood, and will have familiarity with the powerful and military leaders (Al-Khayyat, p. 64; Sahl, p. 414; Abu Ma'shar, p. 525). Glories will come to them through sailing the great rivers and seas, or through business with sterile or disgraced people (Firmicus, p. 364). They will receive praise and be blessed with continuous good fortune, being supported by the general public and having power among the people (Al-Khayyat, p. 64; Firmicus, p. 364). They may also earn a living through astrology (Dorotheus, p. 170).  Jupiter in this position brings an abundance of wealth and may even bring rulership over estates and great possessions, if he receives favorable rays from Mercury . It may also make one who is adopted by foreigners, or receives foreign inheritances (Firmicus, pp. 173, 364; Al-Khayyat, p. 70).  As ruler of the third house, Jupit

Sun in Capricorn in 11H

Image
Delineation The Sun in Capricorn in the eleventh house produces individuals with noble and fortunate fathers (Firmicus, pp. 203-204). Their quiet countenance will bring joy and assistance from wealthy friends and good fortune for their parents. They will be known and have a good reputation in foreign lands (Al-Khayyat, p. 74).  Despite being of few words, they may tend towards deception, making it so that friendships are taken away as quickly as they come. Though they will often enjoy success and have the favor of others, they must beware of plots against them by hidden and secret enemies (Al-Khayyat, pp. 65-66, 74; Valens, p. 34). Due to the influence of Saturn, they are likely to outlive most enemies and acquire abundant resources, increasing in luckiness and dignity over time (Firmicus, pp. 203-204; Al-Khayyat, p. 74; Valens, p. 34). Regardless of their success, it is likely that they will face a certain degree of suffering throughout their life, though this will strengthen their so

Saturn in Aries in 4H

Content Warning : Death As you read this delineation, please remember that traditional texts often included the worst possible outcomes . In a whole chart, there are generally mitigating factors that alleviate the difficulties of a placement. If you ever want to explore those mitigating factors and get a more holistic view of your nativity, please consider booking with a practicing astrologer ( like me ).  Delineation When Saturn alights Aries in the fourth house of the nativity, it makes individuals who are reverent towards their parents, but lose them in a quick death, especially in a nocturnal nativity (Sahl, p. 368; Firmicus, p. 165). These people are ignoble in their youth, committing disgraceful acts and being the recipient of bad luck (Firmicus, pp. 165, 344; Rhetorius, p. 69). They are said to be cold-hearted, even becoming angry when they shouldn't, and finding little success in the good things they do (Al-Khayyat, p. 63).  It is likely that there is some good in the asset

Mercury in Sagittarius in 11H

Image
Delineation Mercury alighting Sagittarius in the eleventh house of the nativity makes those who receive praise and possess great discernment in books and knowledge (Sahl, p. 365). They may be part of the clergy or manage the affairs of the powerful, or work as lawyers or judges, as they are wise in these matters (Al-Khayyat, p. 68; Dorotheus, p. 173). They may also be educators, trainers or leaders of children who are not their own (Dorotheus, p. 169). Regardless, they will be indispensable to leaders, put in charge of their accounts. The testimony for this is greater if Mercury assembles with Jupiter by suitable raying (Firmicus, p. 223).  Mercury ruling the fifth house in this position makes the native pleased with their their children and family (Sahl, pp. 520-521). Their children will receive praise and honors from leaders, authorities and noble people.  Though these individuals will have many friends and close companions with whom they will be generous (Al-Khayyat, p. 74), Mercury

Venus in Leo in 4H

Image
Delineation When Venus falls in Leo in the fourth house, we find individuals who are praiseworthy, glorious and friends of decent and charming people, especially if born by night. By day, these individuals waste their patrimony and achieve things only through great difficulty. In either case, the individual may experience sadness at the beginning of their life because of their mother (Al-Khayyat, p. 71; Firmicus, pp. 206-207; Valens, p. 35).  If born by night, these individuals will find partners who love them greatly, and they may receive glory and patrimony because of them. If born by day, they may be faced with the death of a partner (Firmicus, pp. 206-207). Valens agrees with this, and warns that Venus and the Sun can bring grief with respect to the partner and children, despite these individuals being quite successful (p. 35). Dorotheus says that women specifically may bring humiliation to these natives (p. 168) and Al-Khayyat says that these individuals will have a great hunger f

How I interpreted my Monthly Revolution (Dec 14 - Jan 12)

Image
I'm going to explain how I interpreted my monthly revolution that went from Dec 14 - Jan 12 to give you an idea of what kind of information you can find in these charts. The MR is looked at through the lens of the Nativity and the Solar Revolution. It's used to detail how and when certain events occur. First thing I look at is the Master of the Revolution, for me this year, the Sun. As it's not angular, this is not a peak month. Through monthly profections, it's also not a peak month, so I'm doubtful it'll be overly eventful. In my SR and Natal chart, Capricorn is my 6H, which means that issues of illness, labor and small animals will be prominent topics this month. The dodecatemoria of the ascendant is Scorpio, so 4H topics will also come into play. Funnily enough, my sister (represented by Venus in my nativity) was home from college this month, and is seen in Scorpio in this chart. I also dealt with a respiratory illness that lingered for a lot of this month

Jupiter in Leo in 9H

Image
Delineation Individuals born with Jupiter in Leo in the ninth house are knowledgeable and devout, associated with stars and rulers, and finding praise among the people. These natives are known to be attractive and possess great talent, especially in interpreting the will of the gods and in knowledge (Al-Khayyat, p. 64; Sahl, pp. 673-674). They will be of strong mind, somewhat extravagant, and be entrusted with the management of the affairs of public figures (Firmicus, p. 363).  When born by day, those whose ninth house is alighted by Jupiter in Leo will dream true dreams, and interpret them accurately (Al-Khayyat, p. 73). They will be raised to the priesthood or be given gifts from temples, and they will thirst for knowledge. If they are born by night, their dreams will be false, or they will lie about them and the affairs of the gods (Sahl, pp. 673-674; Firmicus, p. 177-178). These individuals will also at times face losses and agitations of the mind (Firmicus, p. 178).  These individ
